A vintage Kenmore Fire Department truck and a Model T Ford drive past the G. E. Ricketts Elementary School. Opened in the late 1940s for grades 1 through 6, the school building later housed the administrative offices of the Northshore School District. It was demolished early in the second decade of this century to make room for the construction of the Six Oaks apartment/retail complex.
