The W. A. Anderson Junior High School marching band in the 1959 Bothell 4th of July parade, at the corner of Main St. and 2nd St. (now 102nd Avenue NE). The debris behind them is the demolished structure of the Methodist Church that stood there from 1890 until 1958, when a new church building opened on West Hill. (It is possible that this picture is from the 1958 parade--there is disagreement. If it could be determined when the bank building went up on the old church site, the date could be better established.)

*The new building first housed Walt Hinz Insurance, then the Northshore First National Bank, later First Interstate Bank and until 2023 the Wells Fargo Bank.
