Introducing the Museum

In normal times, the museum is open every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. April through October.

The museum exhibits on the ground floor of the Hannan House are wheelchair accessible, thanks to funds provided by the City of Bothell to repair the porch. We regret that the schoolhouse is not currently wheelchair accessible.

Introducing the Museum

  1. Good afternoon.
I was recently in Bothell and was interested in the buildings downtown. I noticed the Anderson School and that McMenamins was going in there.

I also noticed that the site just to the south of the old school is just an empty lot…wondering if there were any historic buildings on that site?

    Please let me know.
    George

  2. Hello,

I visited Blythe Park yesterday and walked up the hill on the far side. I saw the hill going to the top of the ridge. I walked up the trail that leads to it, thru the open corridor. I noticed the trails on the other side of the corridor, and walked down one thru the woods. There I noticed the remains of an old log cabin. I was wondering if the Bothell Historical Society has any record of it, when it was built. It was a ‘full dovetail notch’ cabin. The cabin is near completely deteriorated, although three walls still remain showing the notching. Each log was hewn flat on the interior. Thank you.
